Institute for Progress
The team focus on policy reform in areas such as metascience, immigration, and biosecurity to drive breakthroughs and ensure a prosperous and sustainable future.
We were approached by the Institute for Progress, a (then newly founded) Washington DC based think tank, to create a future orientated and optimistic brand identity and website that embodied the unique moment in time in which the Institute launched. The identity had to support the Institute’s long-term aim to be a respected, professional and rigorous organisation able to effectively impact policy on a regular basis.
We decided to visually embrace the concept of “progress” as a framework for the Institute’s research. Using a bright colour palette and dynamic, repeating lines to imply constant progression, the developed brand identity is future orientated and hopeful, but also a little surprising. The clear and engaging editorial website effectively plays host to the Institute’s research – providing an intuitive and intriguing online reading space. You can view the live site here.
